Why I am running

Every call to the trustee's office comes from a real person facing a real challenge.

It is the single parent doing everything right but still facing tough choices. It is the neighbor stretching a Social Security check to cover the basics. It is the resident rebuilding after a disaster. And it is the taxpayer who wants to know how their dollars are spent. Township government should be a safety net that helps people move forward, not a barrier.

A lifetime of helping people find their way forward.

Ericka McCauley brings years of public service leadership, managing complex systems and large budgets. As a kid, her family fell in and out of poverty, so she knows how hard it can be to ask for help and get it. That is why she has spent her career raising awareness of the programs that change lives.
